Join us for our monthly Scubadillo Dive Club meeting |
| Please join us for our Scubadillo meeting at Bobbie’s Social House, off the Dallas North Tollway and Frankford in Dallas.
Televised football at a sports bar is fun and great to experience! But not during our Thursday meetings, right? So, until further notice, we have moved our regular meetings to the FIRST TUESDAYS of each month. Adjust your calendars and join us Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Bobbie’s Social House. Presentation We’ve heard about a coming transformative diving technology, Avelo. Since DEMA 2025, Avelo has become a huge wave in the sport. It’s the biggest thing since the dive computer! Avelo has now arrived at DFW’s newest dive shop, OCD Divers in Bedford. They have the hardware and are signing up people to become certified to use it. Course instructor, James E Titus, will be here to both review the technology dive computer integration and describe the course and process to become certified. Come check out this new system. Meeting details Our meeting begins at 7 p.m. If your schedule permits, please come for the social/dinner hour around 6 p.m. Take advantage of Bobbie’s happy hour on drinks, which extends to 7 p.m. Bring some cash for the raffle, which offers fun, mostly useful items! |
